Who is to say who is the real beast?
Grendel haunts the land of Frisia in a restless need for vengeance on the human world that has rejected her. With a fiendish master urging her on, she attacks without fear of repercussion.
But the arrival of a foreign prince causes Grendel to doubt her invulnerability. Beowulf is renowned for killing monsters, and he can have only one purpose in visiting Frisia: to break her hellish reign.
When the inevitable confrontation occurs, the battle between man and beast will change both their lives forever as they find themselves thrust into a quest for truth neither could have anticipated.
Allison Tebo re-imagines the ancient legend of Beowulf in an epic story of redemption and grace in a high-stakes fantasy adventure.

Isn't it just gorgeous?!!

I can't wait to get my hands on this book!! Allison's other retellings are incredible, so I know that Break the Beast is going to be EPIC!! (and yes. That's a pun. Because Bewolf is an epic poem. *coughs* There's my quirky side as an English student coming out of me 😝). Break the Beast will be published on September 15th, and if you'd like to go ahead and preorder it, here's the link to do so! You can also find it on Goodreads! I'm thrilled that these authors have come together and created this series because the world needs more retellings of classic literature! 🤩

Have a beautiful rest of your day, friend, and stay tuned for the cover reveal of the next book! <3

    1. AHH IKR?! XD Yesss it really does! Ooo I love Little Women and I've read one of the Sherlock Holmes books (it was the Hound of Baskervilles) and tbh it wasn't my favorite because it was kinda creepy *hides* lol but I do want to read some of the others like A Study in Scarlet! Off the top of my head, two of my favorites are The Count of Monte Cristo and Anne of Green Gables! Thanks for reading and commenting! <3

    2. *laughs* Just realized that my answer above might cause confusion because of what I said in the Let's Talk section. XDD To clarify: The Hound of the Baskervilles was creepy and I read it when I was much younger. But the plot was interesting, so I'm excited to see what the retelling of it is like! XP
