I'm Back! + Exciting Updates + 1st Blogiversary!

Hi friends! It's been a while, hasn't it? After dropping off the face of the blogsphere with no notice for over a month eheh I'm pleased to say that......

Yep, I'm *finally* back and am quite excited to be! As you've probably noticed, I've made a few changes around here ;). I had no plans to update anything, but I thought "new year, new blog." This past year I've grown in my writing and have learned a lot about the blogging world so I felt like I've kinda outgrown the "old" blog. So to celebrate the new year AND my blog's first blogiversary I renovated it. XD Here's the low down of what I've done! 

 1) As you can see, I obviously re-did the whole theme and design. I wanted something new and refreshing for this year, and personally, it feels a bit more like me and my writing style. I think it's a bit softer and fresh and I'm kinda in love with it! I hope you like it too! 

2) I'm changing up my post topics. If you've been here awhile, you've probably noticed that most of my posts have been centered around book news. Which isn't a bad thing (I mean, it is The Book Dragon's Alcove lol) but it isn't necessarily what I want. So while I'll still review some of my favorite books and participate in cover releases/book launches, I'm planning on throwing in some tags/faith posts/writing content/and other fun, random tidbits to spice things up. (Oh and for the time being, I'm going to stop posting a monthly wrap-up. I'm sorry if you liked reading those, but I want to focus on other post topics 😝). 

3) My posting schedule was kinda all over the place last year. But I want to change that. So this year, I'm going to try my hardest to post every other Saturday. That means you'll get two posts a month, and possibly an extra one or two thrown in there occasionally if I'm participating in a blog tour or some other exciting thing. 😜

I planned on having all of the changes finished up by the time this post went up, but due to a few annoying challenges (*glares at an entire blog page I lost after updating*) that won't be happening. However, I'll have it (and any other few things I want to refresh) done soon! 

Thank you so much for reading and even more for supporting this little blog of mine. I know it's far from perfect and even though I've not accomplished most of my goals with it so far, I've learned a lot this past year and am happy with what progress I've made with it. I honestly thought about running a little giveaway to celebrate my blogiversary, but...I've been dealing with School and Sickness this week and haven't had the time to prep one *sighs*. However, that doesn't mean I still won't run one *smirks*. So once Life is a little less crazy for me, you might just see an email (if you're subscribed *coughs*) pop up in your inbox about a fun lil giveaway! XD
